Alongside our Nimbus measuring tools, we also offer the ability to use the Google Map measuring tool. Here’s how:
This tool allows you to measure areas of land, multiple title outlines and just random spaces!
It essentially allows you to draw your own outlines on the map.
To use the Google Map tool, you need to click on the little ‘flag’ button at the very bottom of the screen.
When you have clicked, it will change your cursor into a cross and allow you to draw your desired outline by placing and joining together dots.
When you have created a full outline, and connected each dot, it will create your outline and open the info panel.
Within the info panel, you will be able to see the total site area of the outline you have created.
You are also able to move this outline around the map, just by clicking and dragging it.
To re-draw or delete the outline, just click on the “Remove my polygons” button at the bottom of the info panel pop out.
