Which map source is best to help find plots?

This is always a great question. We use both at Nimbus and here's why.

Google satelite imagery - this is great for scanning areas, see where transport links are, roads, parks etc...

As you can see this is a birds eye view from above. All looks normal doesn't it?

How many potential ploys can you see?

Now, here is the fun part. If we switch to our OS Map...

We can see three possible sites - back garden x 2 and a side garden. Of course we need to investigate each site to understand constraints etc. 

The power that the OS Map can provide is key - it takes away all the noise from Google imagery and lets you see what is on the plot and how access could work. 

Using these two map views can unearth a whole host of opportunities that would often be missed.
