If you have performed a search, and no longer want to view the map with the polygons, you can very easily turn these off. Here's how:
You can easily choose which polygons are displayed on the map via the key on the top left-hand side of the map.
Simply use the tick boxes next to the relevant selections you wish to make.
To completely remove all polygons, untick all of the boxes or select the eye icon next to properties shown.
